First thing is to say, this is a great Transforming Prime. The Details are good, though the normal odd mold line mark is shown, the little features of detail really add to it all and it transforms like a dream. Coming with the Walther p-38 Gun mode of Megatron (complete with Removeble Stock, Sight and Silencer, Energy Axe anda Ion Blaster (thougth the Blue colouring ,though really correct, it is mostly done being Black instead. The base is great too with the sound being pretty good and clear.. There are some problems that should be noted though.. out of the 6 sounds and pharse (sounds are transforming into vechical mode and transforming into Robot Mode) they are NOT all from the Film. The voice is someone other then Peter Cullen, the Voice of Prime. Also a couple of the pharse aren't full. the line 'I want you make to a special run to autobot city' should have the 'on earth' bit and the line 'Megatron must be stopped' really does not sound right without the ending 'no matter the cost'. Also, Prime never said his famous 'Transform and Roll Out' in the film itself.. in fact, that line isn't used much in the series but versions of it are (like Transform and Roll for Home). The hands are good to have finger movements but due to the limits in them, holding things in hands can be a little tricky. The only other problem i can see if the Matrix itself to too small.. Where as he should hold it with all four fingers, this figure can only get two to hold it. But don't let this put you off. This is the kind of figure that is sure to go up in the highly priced world of Transformers, and it sits pretty well next to the Oringal Prime.

The greatest Autobot of them all, 3 Mar 2007
This Optimus prime is the largest and most detailed produced for a long time, based off the ordinal Transformers the movie look (80s). He comes with three weapons, classic blaster, Enegron Axe & a small scale version of 80s Megatron's gun (Doesn't transform). He comes complete with opening chest to revile where the matrix of leadership should be, he comes with the matrix which can opened. There's a small light inside his chest which can light up the matrix.
As for prime him self, he mostly plastic but with metal pieces, he can convert to vehicle mode, on his arms are two communicators, each with a different character on it. His mouth plate has a button on the back that lets it move up and down, just like in the ordinal film and TV show. He also comes with a platform for him to stand on and that has a button which gives off ten different sayings or sounds. His overall movement is good, so the processioning for poses is limitless!
Downside, his main blaster, it doesn't stay in his hand very well and its colour in completely wrong from the ordinal TV show! This bot is a must have for any Transformers Collection, because Optimus prime is truly the greatest Autobot of them all!

What can I say its Optimus Prime!, 13 Dec 2007
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This is a Must buy for any transformers fan, it has great build quality and looks amazing. There is a huge amount of detail on it and it has metal parts for his chest and parts of his legs. He is quite heavy and it makes it feel well built. The stand has sounds and quotes from the original movie, it's not Peter Cullen's voice but thats no biggie.
It comes with 3 weapons, Prime's gun, Megatron in gun form and an energon axe. Putting Megatron in Prime's hand works best when you remove the stock from Megatron's gun form. Prime's hands can also hold a variety of objects such as pens and chopsticks!
He currently sits on my desk at work and everyone stops by and has a play with him!
So overall I'm very impessed with this and its my pride and joy of my transformers collection.
