Exposure to a nebulous entity reconfigured him into the ultimate 4-mode Transmetal, Optimal Optimus. Reactive smart-missile cannons are functional in all modes of operation. In hypersonic attack mode he has upgraded Cybertronian "air guardian" jet technology equipped with scramjet modules specialised for unmatched velocity. In amoured ground-assault mode, he transgresses all terrain and overcomes all opposition. Battle-reactive blast-shields supply him with an impenetrable defense, making Optimal Optimus the most potent threat ever to face-off Megatron and his Predacons. This large toy transforms from Robotic Ape, to Ground-Assault Vehicle, to Hypersonic Attack Jet, to Super Robot! Features electronic light-up missile cannons that really fire, green-glowing eyes in robot mode, orange-glowing eyes in beast mode, plus blast-away armour on his arms! Requires 2 x AA batteries (not included).
