Based on the current series of Transformers, this Megatron is the only figure so far to be based upon his Earth mode; the transformation is simple yet effective. He comes with two swords that form the propellers of his vehicle mode and he equipped with a cannon, which makes him look almost like his Generation one counterpart, the cannon is also a launcher for a single missile and can go far depending how you launch it.

Megatron also has voice and sound effects that can be played, one effect activates when his cockpit canopy is slid over his robot mode head, he says a total of three phrases "Where is the All Spark!" "Crush the Autobots!" And the last one is just Evil laugher, in vehicle mode, there is only one sound effect and that is the sound of his helicopter mode.

As I mentioned above, his swords become the propellers for his Vehicle mode and can be attached and disconnected easily, also if you spin one of the blades, the other will begin to spin. In Robot mode, Megatron's mouth opens when you press the symbol on his chest and saying the phrases said above, he also lights up with red in places when the voices activate!

Overall, one of the best Megatron toys ever produced, transformation is simple but effective and he loaded with features, out of the three I seen so far, the Leader class is the best choice, may cost more but there's nothing I can find as a flaw in the toy!

A huge toy, this is one of the best Megatron figures ever conceived. Not only does the robot look like the latest animated Megatron, it is very close in looks to the original/classic animated Megatron.

There is a soundchip in the toy that makes the transformation sound when you change between robot and helicopter mode, and also includes maniacal laughter, "crush the autobots" and "find the all spark".

Meggers has a detachable fusion cannon and two swords that also form the rotors (which spin together in helicopter mode.

Really, this is a great oversized toy. The transformation is just complicated enough to be challenging without being too much and the limbs are very poseable.

This is pretty good quality and more robust than many transformer toys I've seen. Only annoying feature is the swords, which detach and will quickly get lost.

I bought it for my son's christmas and was very happy with my purchase. However, he has not played with it much since so only 3 stars.
