I bought this figure going by screenshots and reviews, plus I was in the mood for a semi-rare figure of Optimus Prime that wasn't a truck of some sort. Transformation is fun and interesting, resulting in a robot that is imposing despite its overall size. Two main problems with the figure: the diecast metal parts, while adding to the figure's durability, make it top-heavy in robot mode, causing the figure to tip over easily if not positioned correctly, and the paint can easily rub from said diecast parts depending on the quality of figure you get. Not so much of a problem to those who are able to re-paint, but for the average person, it limits the amount of time you spend playing with the figure.
