Terradive,

This review is from: Transformers - Deluxe Class - Terradive (Toy)
Terradive is an all round great figure, in terms of articulation he has:- a moving head on a ball joint - waist movement - arm movement, and elbow and wrist - knee movement, leg movement, foot movement Terradive is also really well detailed for a figure his size, and holds the trident weapons really well in both hands and get get into some really good poses. however, terradive's legs can be very weak and will more than often pop out of the joints but are easily replaced. that really is the only issue i have with this figure. his alt mode is also really good, his jet mode has landing gear and a place to store the weapon which is very handy. overall i recomend this figure :) thanks for reading

I like the plane transformers, so I treated myself to this one. Transforming to a robot was a little fiddly, but this transformer is well designed and there are locating lugs to ensure it holds it's shape well when transformed. Nothing required undue force to move, though my first attempt to transform it failed and I had to resort to the instructions. In robot or plane form, stability is good and my "robot" stood first time and remains standing. Buyer beware as price fluctuates wildly on these "Deluxe Class" transformers, I believe the street RRP is about £10, but prices do creep up when they become scarce. Now all that remains is for my little boy to break it! ;-)

Best Plane Transformer Yet,

This review is from: Transformers - Deluxe Class - Terradive (Toy)
I'm not really into plane transformers. Most of them use the nosecone as the head, which results in a doofy pointy head sculpt. No matter how cool the face is below it, I still see the pointy crown on their head.Terradive, on the other hand, does not follow this aesthetic. He uses the nosecone as a cool chest piece, and he head is hidden in a gray grill on the underside of the plane. Even better, when looked at from the bottom, Terradive actually looks like a plane. On most other plane transformers (Jetblade, Dirge, etc.), if you flip the plane over, everything is out in plain sight: the head, chest, arms, everything. Terradive does not fall into this trap. His transformation is intricate and involving, with lots of twisting and flipping going on, that results in an extremely solid robot mode. Terradive also has one of the coolest face sculpts around. It's almost bug-like, with a long, sunken face and a crested, tri-pointed headpiece. His overall sculpt is that of a sinewy, chisled ruler, one that could possible give Darkmount a run for his money. Overall, Terradive is a fantastic transformer, especially for the deluxe price point. He makes a great addition to any Decepticon display, even in plane mode, thanks to the fold-out wheels. Go and get this guy while you can!

I gave this to my Grandson for Christmas. Challenging the first few times to transform but he really enjoyed it. So far it seems durable.
