I bought this book some time ago and it has been sitting in a bookcase ever since. What a mistake this turned out to be as this is one of the best books I have read in a long time. In the Genre of Political/ Terrorist thriller it is up there with the best. The plot moves briskly and there is enough action that you want to keep reading. Mitch Rapp is a believable character, and you find yourself wanting him to succeed. I would advise anyone to read this book. You will not be disappointed.

You can't put it down 13 Aug 2001
By Amykate
Format:Paperback
An incredible book, I totally enjoyed it. The characters were more than believable - you really felt you got involved. As for the plot! What an idea - just read this book for the basic concept alone. Also it was nice to read a book of this type with out cringing at the clichés and corny parts. I finished the book 2 hours ago and I've already ordered the next one. This author is that good.

The Best In History 15 April 2001
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
This book is the best of all of the two of Vince Flynn, I had a great deal of trouble putting this book down as like with Terms Limits, you just wanted to see the outcome. This book does make you think 'can this happen' this is another great read by Vince Flynn and would tell anyone who is like me a Vince Flynn fan to buy this especially if you liked Term Limits

Action-packed but ultimately shallow and simplistic plot
A black and white cover of this book seems very appropriate for a book that depicts a black and white world of good guys and bad guys, of smart ones and stupid ones, of noble ones... Read more

A great read for fans of the genre
The order of the books is such that this I believe was the first and then he went back and wrote the other two which are set beforehand with a younger version of our hero. Read more

Very entertaining book - very unamusing price
I was hoping to download the Kindle version of this (very entertaining) book but discover that it is 25% more expensive than the paperback (which I have previously purchased). Read more

Sunlounger fodder... but no more
This isn't a 'good' book but by the same token it isn't a 'bad' book either. I finished it, I wouldn't if I hadn't been camped on a sun lounger with no real need to stop. Read more
