Product Description

Amazon.co.uk

Radio One jock and general dance music guru Dave Pearce is renowned for spinning only the finest in uplifting, euphoric dance anthems (as witnessed on his weekly Dance Anthems show), so it's only right really that he should be chosen to mix one of BMG's Euphoria compilations. For this double CD album, Pearce offers us some of the definitive trance and hard house tunes from the end of 2000, as well as some of the lesser known but still "'aving it" tracks. Among the more obvious selections are Zombie Nation's "Kernkraft 400", Darude's "Feel the Beat", Sasha and Emerson's "Scorchio", Sonique's "It Feels So Good", Fatboy Slim's "Bird Of Prey" and Storm's "Time To Burn". Nestled in amongst these monster club hits though are a multitude of lesser known but still rocking gems such as Black Spider's "Save Your Life", Phatt 8's "And Da Drum Machine", Vernon's Wonderland's "Vernon's Wonderland" and Xstasia's "Sweetness". An accomplished and essential selection of the some of 2000's best clubbing moments. --Paul Sullivan

Another truely great Euphoria CD, Dave Pearce has chosen some truely Euphoric tracks, from some bangin hard house choonage to some great chilled and Trancy numbers there is not a single dud track in this compilation. My only complaint is a certain DJ, namely Mr. Dave Pearce. OK so he isn't the best DJ in the world, that I can forgive, sure some of the tracks are poorly mixed, and all of them very quickly mixed, but that is just Dave Pearce for u. My major complaint for this CD is the amount of play time each track gets. It is almost like Mr. Pearce has tried to fit a 2 hour set onto each of the 80 minute CDs. I think in anyones mind 19 tracks is excessive to say the least, some of the best tracks on the CD, most notably element4's big brother theme and Phatt B's and da drum machine, both of which least hardly 2 minutes before Mr. Pearce decides to drop the next choon in, in some cases, especially DJ Tiesto's remix of Delirum's Silence our good DJ friend Mr. Pearce nearly misses the breakdown before dropping in the next track. This is this CDs major flaw, great tracks, but there's not enough time to listen to them before the next one starts.

I went and bought this CD by chance. I didn't realise it was out until seeing it in the shop. I am really into the Euphoria CD's - in my opinion they blow any other trance compilation out of the water!
To me this album is nice and accessible, put it in the drive and instantly you know where your money went. Full of great banging trance to liven your evening up.
I found previous releases of Euphoria quite hard to get into, however after a few listens they just got better and better. This latest Euphoria is banging right from the first listen. Full marks for Dave Pearce!
Buy it today, you won't regret it.

When I first layed my hands on this CD I thought yes and was impressed by the presentation of the packaging, but it wasn't until I got the CD home and played it I found myself a little disappointed. I liked the thought of Dave Pearce mixing it and most of the tracks, but the length of each track was a big let down. I feel prehaps a few less tracks and a bit more of the content of each single would have been better rather than trying to cram everything onto two CD's, quality rather than quantity in this case.

This like many other of the euphoria albums is an absolute stormer, with tracks from the warp brothers, sister bliss and delerium plus some unknown tracks like lightforce-join me and floyd-come to gether. I feel that a few of the tracks should have lasted longer even if a few tracks were taken off. The smooth and seemless mixes were kept throughout and at one point on cd1 the change from lightforce to warrior was about a minute long.

.... This album possibly delivers more than any of the other albums of the series, perhaps with the exeption of "Pure Euphoria". To newcomers, let me tell you that you might be fooled by the fact that you might not recognise a great number of the tunes unlike the "Ministry of Sound" series but let me say that these unknown tracks will be the best, and the ones that will be putting you in a trance for many many months. From the off, Faithless's "Don't Leave" is an indication of what a great buy you just made. It has all the chart hits but these are superbly remixed such as "Silence", "Feel The Beat" and "It Feels so Good". CD1 is maybe a bit better than CD2, with my favourite track, "Eugina" by Salt Tank. If you like the whole trance/techno deal, then there's no reason why you shouldn't get this masterpiece ASAP! Personally, my favourtite of the Euphoria collection... "God is a Dj" never sounded so true!

I initially ordered Breakdown - very best of euphoric dance level 3 and Breakdown - the very best of euphoric dance Vol.5.I received Level 3 which is an awesome cd Quality was top notch too (no jumping) however Vol.5 never turned up but Zoverstock's sent meTranscendental Euphoria to obviously make up for not receiving Vol.5 and it too is awesome and top quality. They obviously take customer care seriously and i would not hesitate in buying from them again.
