Recently bought a 16GB Kingston Data Traveller 101 but it was slow so I tried this one, and it's the fastest one I've had - even faster than my 8GB Buffalo which easily beat the Kingston.
Reading one 700MB file:
27.94 MB/s (Kingston: 16.04 MB/s)
Reading seven files total 400MB:
26.56 MB/s (Kingston: 15.79 MB/s)
Writing one 700MB file:
16.00 MB/s (Kingston: 8.06 MB/s)
Writing seven files total 400MB:
16.43 MB/s (Kingston: 7.49 MB/s)
If I had to criticise, it would be handy if the cap fitted on the back of the stick or somehow stayed on, but it's not worth marking it down for that.

With its decent capacity of 16GB it is still pretty small and sleek. It is very fast in comparison to the cheap memory sticks. Also I thought the cap would be loose and fall off but it is quite secure. All in all its a brilliant purchase and I would highly recommend it for this price.

well i can simply say that this is a must to have this USB as it is very compact with backup utility and its read speed is simply amazing. I recommend other guys to have this USB in their pockets

fast, lightweight and large capacity
I bought this as an upgrade from the 8gb transcend memory stick I just bought from their 300 series.

very fast gadget
fast read and write speeds have bought several of these now. would prefer to have a clip on them so you can add a lanyard to it but drive is excellent
