For those new to the science of adult training/learning this book provides a good overview of the various elements of training and the layout is logical. Unfortunately, it's very expensive for an overview - £27.99. I would advise having a nose through the local college of further education's library to see which books appeal based on readability, depth of information and additional reading references before buying any book. I would have given this book a 4 star rating if the price was under £15.
Good book in very good condition, although the print is a bit on the small side, it is visually well organised and gives you very good tips to consider when preparing for training sessions.
This is a really good book to support any training study you are doing, or just if you want some theory around planning, designing and delivering training. Simple, clear, concise information, laid out in a quick/easy read format which means you can dip in and out on the bits that you need.
Definitely recommend it.
