5.0 out of 5 stars Enchanting 26 Nov 2009
Format:Hardcover
Fantastic, interesting, unusual and fun.

Very well constructed and you will always see something new every time you pick this book up. What a world David Pelham has created.

Everyone whom I have shown this book to, from students to fellow colleagues, have been totally enchanted and mesmerised.

A self indulgence worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Popup Book 27 Dec 2011
By Shannie
Format:Hardcover
This is an amazing pop up book! You need to have one just to see how amazing it is. There is hardly any text, but just pages of pop ups in white and a bit of silver, and acetate. I think there is about 5 pages without finding the book to check it out. You will be amazed by how much they have managed to cram between the pages.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than I'd ever imagined it could be... 7 April 2013
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
I bought this for my other-half's Xmas present in 2010

I know she likes artistic and unusual books and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly.

She loved it at the time but what's more important is that even now, she still comments on how it was

"the best thing you ever bought me"

Now I've bought her a lot of stuff over the years, so that's quite a claim - it is, therefore, the best gift I ever bought from Amazon ;0

5.0 out of 5 stars gorgeous and fascinating 25 Feb 2013
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
I didn't know what to expect from this but I am enchanted by this book. I keep finding hidden delights in its pages. The pop-ups are full page with a wonderful intricacy to them. It would be suitable for all ages except for the very young and sticky fingered (lots of white paper!).

5.0 out of 5 stars Paper sculpture in a book 15 Feb 2013
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This book was a delightful find. I have given it as a present to friends who appreciate creativity and have everything they need. When you open it, exquisite paper sculptures of exotic jungles and gardens, all in white, pop up and thrill the observers. They are accompanied by a poem wheel.

This is a wonderful gift to carry abroad, as it's light and easy to pack.

I think it is very reasonably priced, too as it looks like something that has been hand-crafted with great love.
