The second book of the darkweaver legacy is fantastic. The brave young heros, Calvin,Jenna and Bek save Thrandor in a brave and desperate attempt against the Shandese sorcerers'The Lords of the Inner Eye'.Calvin, the novice magician is kidnapped by Shandese soldiers and is taken to the evil 'Lords of the Inner Eye', where he is used to conquer his homeland, Thrandor, by taking his soul, and leaving him bewildered and vulnerable. But the elite archer, Jenna, who is secretly in love with Calvin sets out on a dangerous journey to save Calvin and restore his soul to his body. Bek, the brave, and skillful swordsman, has the same idea gathers a group of soldiers to set out and return Calvins magical sword.

I enjoyed the way the characters developed, and I especially liked the battle between Jenna and the gorvath. It is easy to get involved in all that happens in the book, and the ending meant that I was all ready anticipating the next installment.(review by Cameron Robertson age 11)

This book, follows the adventures of Jenna, Calvin, Bek and Jez in this exciting tale of mystery and adventure. Magic plays a big part in this tale, you meet the sourcerer's of the inner eye. The story captures the readers imagination as if by magic.
