I got this for Christmas and have tried 4 recipes so far - all worked and taste amazing. Its like having my very own National Trust cafe - without the ridiculous price for a slice of cake!

Each recipe has interesting background about its locality and origins.

Would recommend to anyone who likes to bake or eat lovely cakes.

I bought this for my Mum's birthday a couple of years ago and have since bought it for three more people! The cake recipes in here are easy to follow and the outcome is always guaranteed delicious! A brilliant plethora of traditional and slightly more modern teatime recipes, with clear instruction and very appealing photos.
