About the Author
Paul Johnson is director of the Book Art Project at the Manchester Metropolitan University. He runs courses and writes books based on his experiences of book making with children. He is author of Making Books, also published by A & C Black.

Format:Paperback
This book is such a great resource for rewriting traditional tales that extra special and its perfect for school displays. Some stories in the book is not the ones that are done in school, but if a willing and creative teacher is willing to copy and adapt the resource for their own planning, this book makes an excellent template. Great to do for homework aswell!

This is good if you are looking for something different to the usual photocopiable worksheets. There are a variety of practical activities, with the only drawback being that they are a little larger than A4 size, so you have to fiddle about on the photocopier to get them to fit the page.
