5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Introduction, 16 Dec 2008

This review is from: Traditional Chinese Therapeutic Exercises: Standing Pole (Paperback)
This really is a good book, giving a lot of advice concerning zhan zhuang chi kung. The reader ought to be aware, however, that the other books of this author are indeed rubbish (contrary to his words, he never learnt from Wang Xiang Zhai). This little book, however, gives excellent insights into this particular style of chi-kung. It predominantly deals with health and is rather excellent in this field. If you are a practitionar of this particular style of chi-kung, then this book is for you, and there is indeed a lot to be learnt from Wang! But remember not to read his other works: they are poor, to say the least.
