Strangely I thought this would have all the information I would need to make several types of traditional bows. It does claim to be an encyclopaedia and the sub title is "The complete guide to bow making". What you get is a journey around famous bow makers chatting about their lives and the bows they make. This may mean loads to an experienced bow maker but they will have to wade through a lot of waffle. If this sounds good to you then buy it. If you want to know how to make traditional bows then look at

This book is a follow up to the Series Bower's Bible. It is a handy referance to the history of bows and their manufacture that produced them. It is not as much instructional material as in the other books,but still complets the series.
