I'm pleased with this. Unwrapped the well-packaged parcel and IMO the product picture doesn't quite do the clock full justice. For me, the face seems slightly larger than I expected. The fairly chunky but elegant oak casing has a warm appearance & is very easy on the eye, and looks good on a desk, cabinet, mantlepiece, or in a bedroom (where mine proudly sits). This reliable timepiece's dial features large, easy to see numbers & operates very quitely (no second hand). The battery compartment cover is very easy to open (no need to 'prise' it off). The base has felt scratch protectors. I'm now trying to think of an 'excuse' to buy another one!

We were really pleased with this clock. It was purchased for a young in spirit but elderly parent to replace a broken carriage clock. The numbers are clear and wood a good quality. It keeps good time too!
