CD Description
Three years on from their eponymous debut album (LL001) The London Lasses have had a wealth of touring experience, wide radio and TV exposure (even appearing in the BBC's hugely popular EastEnders!) and are now a quintet: Karen Ryan (fiddle, whistles), Elaine Conwell (fiddle), Dee Havlin (flute, whistle), Maureen Linane (button accordion) and Kathleen O'Sullivan (vocals). On TRACK ACROSS THE DEEP they are again joined by pianist Pete Quinn, who brings his diverse musical background to accompany the Lasses on a selection of jigs, reels, other dances and songs, all in an exciting way which still manages to remain faithful to the tradition.
