1.0 out of 5 stars Just dreadful... 5 Dec 2011
By Tcy_P
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I have read many books in this genre and have enjoyed other Lori Foster titles but this was just dreadful. Pris is by far the most annoying, insufferable heroine I have ever had the displeasure of reading.
If it wasn't for Pris this may have been a very good novel, it had potential. Trace was a great hero, he checked all the boxes, and even the plot was - for the most part - entertaining. However, Pris! Oh where to start, a virgin, far too attached to her pubic hair, I mean, come on, would you risk your whole life long mission based on a wax? And for a woman apparently so modest, she didn't mind discussing personal things freely.
I read the whole book, of course, I did, but I wish I hadn't started it. Most of the book I spent muttering and gritting my teeth desperate for someone, anyone, to give Pris a good, hard slap.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok, typical Lori Foster 19 Jun 2011
By Noosh
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is a good read about Trace who is the bodyguard of some nasty piece of work who is involved in human trafficking. Trace is undercover and trying to collect evidence and that's going really well until priss turns up claiming to be his bosses daughter. Well as you can imagine with Lori foster sparks fly and danger ensues but love blossoms.

Like issue typical Lori foster but I found at times the book was slightly long winded. I love her books and I found ths just didn't stand up against books like the Winstons or Judes law etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ahhh I am loving this series by Lori Foster. 13 July 2011

Format:Mass Market Paperback
I really enjoyed When You Dare and normally after enjoying a first in the series, its a concern because in a lot of cases the next books in the series don't live up to the first.
However you couldn't be more wrong with this series by Lori Foster.
This book was just brilliant.

The story starts straight away and from the first page I was pulled in. I was intrigued with Trace in the first book and was looking forward to reading his story.
Well....what can you say about the hunky Trace....phew! hot! that pretty much covers it lol
Priss was the perfect female for him as well. Feisty and kick-ass!
Their story was very thought out, detailed and explored and the romance part to it rounded it up perfectly.
I thought the storyline was perfect and the bad guy in this was a "good" bad guy. Completely evil and corrupt and his evil sidekick Helen fitted in well with him as she was just as evil and twisted.

It was great to see? read? Dare and Molly again. I would have liked maybe something from each of their perspectives but it probably wouldn't have added anything to the story so I can understand why there wasn't. I am just nosy and wanted to read how they were doing etc :-)

I am now fully converted back to Lori's books and I have just started Savor the Danger and cannot wait to get stuck into the sexy Jackson's and Alani's story,
