It was difficult to understand the instructions. The crystals stained everything that they touched...clothes, hands, etc....Produced square shaped crystals that quickly disintegrated.

I found this toy a TOTAL waste of time and MONEY. The crystals never actually grew, and even if they did actually grow, they weren't good - they simply dissolved. As a result of this science learning kit gaffe, my favourite T-shirt was stained.

We havnt done this kit yet as you need a special can to heat it in my daughter is on the look out and the boys are anxious to do it.
