Toys in the Attic is a captivating read, full of twists and turns. The lead character, Sara, is the victim of a horrific sexual event that changes her life forever. The author has woven a story based on this event that brings out the emotions of the characters and leaves the reader wanting more. Not for the meek, this book is a good read.

This is a Great book to say the least. Sara's character is beyond strong, after losing her mother, she endures both mental and physical abuse from her father, but when she hits her breaking point, she kills him. But her pain isn't over yet, she learns she is now pregnant with her fathers child. Will Sara be strong enough to overcome the pain she has encountered and be able to love her child, or will she give up on life it's self?

This is a very captivating story, it grabs you up and makes you wish you could save Sara. The abuse she goes through is painful and heart wrenching.
