I've bought a couple of different wooden magnifyers for various 3 year olds and this is my favourite.
- surprisingly good magnification ie actually functions as a magnifying glass as well as just looking like one (and has an extra-magification lens within the main lens)
- sturdy (as tested by my ~1 year old banging it on various items of furniture)
- generally good quality and nice to hold
- nice simple design with no branding/stereotyping

I bought this for my 2,5 year old boy and he loves it. It seems to be quite durable as well, has been dropped and thrown a few times already and still in one piece.
