I work with primary age children in a counselling setting and I find that while playing with this toy they become calm and focussed. They seem to get a lot of enjoyment from making their own little version of the world.
The set can easily be expanded by adding in small farmyard animals or other toys on a similar scale.

I should have followed advice of previous customer who stated that the pieces where to small. They def are a lot smaller than those shown in the picture and def unsuitable for a child under three. You can buy a whole train set with people, houses, trees etc for eight pounds in tesco!! The bag that they come in, is also very poor and ripped as soon as I opened it. Not worth the money...keep looking!!

I wasn't impressed with the size of the pieces, maybe I didn't expect them to be that small. Not suitable for my 19 month old. Maybe ok for older kids

Great, but poor packaging
