Saw these supporting Kyte at a gig in Sheffield and was totally blown away - so much so I bought this ep right there and then.
I haven't been disappointed by there songs on CD either - favourites include Toy Train and Rock in Shoes.
I can't recommend this band enough - a lovely melodic sound perfect for lazy Sundays in my opinion and I really hope to see them go on to bigger and better things so we can get a full album off them - please!

My friend sent me a link to Pocket Satellite's MySpace page and I was hooked straight away. You can see clips of them playing live on You Tube (and almost 100% acoustically) - very talented!
Great vocals, harmonies and arrangement. I hear something new in the lyrics and "layers" of sound each time I listen. I bought the EP and am in danger of overplaying it as I haven't stopped listening to it. Each track "does exactly what you want it to do" - I mean that I find myself singing/humming along. This doesn't mean that the music doesn't pleasantly surprise either.
They remind me of Simon & Garfunkle, Belle & Sebastien, and dEUS at times, but they have their own distinctive sound.
3 tracks are outstanding - Rocks in Shoes, Toy Train and We Chased Soldiers. I want more!
BUY IT and let's try and get them signed so we can have more :)
