It will take 1 person 30 minutes to build, the instructions said..... so I put the tea in the oven and got to work. Well 1.5 hours later it had taken my husband (who was not a happy bunny) and I, plus my 6 year old running to fetch things for us to put it together. The holes just didn't line up so it took the brut force of my husband twisting the bars whilst I was ready with the bolts for just the right moment when he got the holes in the right place and I jammed the bolt through. My fingers now hurt, my 4 year old for whom the bed is for, gave up and is asleep on the armchair but at last it is up and in the bed room, it feels sturdy and my 6 year old claims it's comfy. All's well that ends well (except the tea was cooked and completely cold before anyone got to eat any of it) so the moral is, leave yourself plenty of time to put this together and get someone with some serious muscles to help!.
