The book is awesome! It really makes you thinking while you have a little fun looking at those children.

Nevertheless, the book I received could be more well handed. The outer cover was a little wrinkled. That's a thing that can happen we one deals with a huge amount of stock, but in that case I would have prefered to know it (buying a book "as is") or to pay a higher price for a clean&perfect product

This book really gives you food for thought.
I own a nursery, and took this book in to show the children, and they found it fascinating.

Very interesting pictures 14 April 2014
By B. Moore - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
I bought this book for my 5-year-old son so he could see how children live in other countries. It is a very eye-opening book, great for helping kids learn a little empathy and appreciation, but also enjoyable for my son to see the kinds of toys other kids play with. Great value.
We got more than we bargained for! 25 Jun. 2015

This book is really great. My kids (11, 9, 7, 5) have been pouring over it and asking questions ever since it arrived. The content has a clean layout with no distractions, which kids appreciate, even if they don't understand why. I expected my kids to enjoy seeing the pictures and hoped they would eventually learn to see passed the toys and into the underlying highlights of this book. It happened sooner than I expected. We were in deep by the time we got finished looking at it the first time, with this book serving as a springboard into subjects that run deeper than toy collections. Out of all the beautiful children featured in this book the one that really stole our hearts was Chiwa (Page 94). I recommend it to anyone who's looking for an easy way to open up a dialog with kids of all ages about the economics and social realities of other countries.

An inspired and heatwarming book... 1 April 2014

I saw this project featured in several different news outlets and loved the concept. This really is a darling book. This would be a great tool to teach smaller children about wealth disparity.
