Have fun with photography and you shall be rewarded!,

This review is from: Toy Cameras, Creative Photos: High-end Results from 40 Plastic Cameras (Paperback)
Take a trip through some thoroughly weird and wonderful 'toy' or novelty cameras. Have Hipstamatic on your phone? Like it? Then you'll love this book. Kevin Meredith is, along with being Lomo Ambassador 'lomokev', a serious photographer who doesnt take photography seriously and his books are fantastic and celebratory as a result. Get down to one of his talks if you ever get the chance... but in the mean time buy the books!

This review is from: Toy Cameras, Creative Photos: High-end Results from 40 Plastic Cameras (Paperback)
I have the two earlier books from Kevin Meredith which I enjoyed, particularly the first book. Hot Shots: How to Refresh Your Photos Although I'm not interested in film photography I found them to be both interesting and helpful with ideas for my digital work. Not so with this book as it really is of use for people who are thinking of buying 'toy' film* cameras. It would really help with making those decisions but is of no use to people like myself. If your like me buy one of his earlier books, well recommended. Photo OP: 52 Inspirational Projects for the Adventurous Image-Maker *There are a couple of digital 'toy' camera reviews inside.
