My wife and I recently became big fans of Eddi Reader and, through her, Boo Hewerdine. We saw him at at local folk club in late 2008, one of the best gigs we've ever seen. We chatted to him afterwards and learned where the glorious artwork came from; I think I'm right in saying he put his surname into Ebay's search engine and it came up with these lovely examples of art, which had not known anything about. He then made Toybox 1 and 2 so he could make use of the art! As for the music, it's Boo at his best, albeit in a lovely Low-Fi way. Clearly the work of a genius, although I wish he'd polish up the production a bit. What you see is what you get with Boo though, and I hope he never changes that!
