Product Description

Who knew that owning a touring paddle board could be so convenient? With the Xplorer 14' iSUP, you get the speed and distance of a rigid SUP in a portable and convenient dress. Now, storing and traveling with your race/touring board is easier than ever. The Tower Xplorer Inflatable SUP is made from military-grade material, similar to that of the highly regarded Zodiac boats and extreme river rafts. When inflated, its rigidity feels almost identical to that of a hard board. In theory, the thicker you go, the exponentially more rigid it will get. At an unparalleled 8" thickness, the Xplorer is amazingly stiff, rigid, and stable -plus, it's fast! The Xplorer travels almost 20% faster than most hard fiberglass paddle boards.
*Pump Disclaimer: Pressure gauge on pump may not register right away. Unless you are using a pump other than the one we have provided, you do not have to worry about over-inflating the board.
*Paddle Disclaimer: Paddle does not float. Please be sure to rinse off after using in salt water to prevent corrosion.

About Tower Paddle Boards: Tower Paddle Boards ( is the manufacturer-direct paddle boarding company. This means you save $500 on a SUP. By straying away from the traditional distribution channel, Tower saves on internal costs without sacrificing quality, so customers get quality boards at near wholesale prices.

U have to love this board theres nothing on the market that can mach it! I was looking for a board that can support weigth tons of it, beacuse i like SUP in rivers and whit kids its awesome! This is the only board i know that supports this kind of weigth i already travel 3 km whit 2 grown adults total 170kg + god 25kg + kid 25kg =200kg. The board its big but this was just a bounch of crazy ppl having fun so dont think u can travel to long like this xD

This is the only inflatable u can keep your feet dry even whit waves, i have more 2 inflatables SUPs and one rigid and this is the only one i can do this!

This is a fast board but u just cant surf big waves, if u try u gonna crash like a plain, or its just my lack of skills!

-Weigth that carrys;
-Feet dry;
-Good looking;
-Fast, really fast for a inflatable;
- Endurance

-Quality, not bad just fair enough! some details look a bit cheap but its only when looking to more expensive boards;
- Dont have a bag, thats a big issue for trasnportation and my main cons;

Final: i have one and im gonna buy two more for my brother in law and for my wife, i think this expresse how much i love it;

Three words: Buy This SUP 12 July 2013

So I am a large man at 6'6" tall and north of 250 lbs and I bought it because of the size of this board and weight allowance (800 lbs), but what made me a true fan was when I actually rode it.

This is a very stable board, and also very fast. The board is not that heavy (36 lbs) and has a handle in the middle making it very easy to carry. The only tool you need is a Phillips Screwdriver to get the fin in and out of the slot, pretty standard stuff. I can live without a bag to carry the board in, one would certainly be nice but definitely not deal breaker ( I throw it in a large duffel bag).

I find it funny that someone would give 2 stars because of things completely unrelated to what matters, and that is the performance of the board.

The board is very stable, sits high in the water, and paddles very easy. The price also makes this a smart purchase since most 14' SUP's are well over $1,000.00. I recommend you get one fast because word will get out and they will be hard to find, I am considering purchasing a second one for my wife/ a friend to use.

Great board, lack of customer service 13 July 2013

Really like my board. It was easy to inflate. It feels nice and safe because of the size. My only disappointment was that it didn't come with a storage/travel bag. I emailed Tower 5-6 times to try determine before I purchased the board as I needed to transport it a long way. I didn't receive a single reply to any of the emails. Its a shame with such a good product that the customer service doesn't live up to the product.

Tower ISUP 14ft 5 Sep 2013

Hey Tower,
My experience has been great. The purchase through Amazon was clean
and efficient. Everything was there, intact and shipped faster then I
expected. I'll definitely use Amazon again. As for the board, it's
been awesome. I'm a 6'4" 350lb Samoan Dude who grew up surfing mostly
long boards, the older heavier glass boards 20 years ago. Not as easy
to get up on the new lighter glass boards. Anyways, I've used this at
the lake, the river a bunch and ONCE at the beach on some 4' walls.
You can't duckdive on ISUPs. This board moves and tracks well even against
the wind and currents. It supports me no problem. The board is great for storing
and durable. The kids play on it with ease and wife is starting to get comfortable on it.
It's great recreation and workout. I'm catching a lot of peoples eyes because of
ease of use and letting them try it. Hopefully, you've received some
business from it. My kids get a little miffed that I let people I
don't know try it out. Maybe we'll get another one later. They all
wanted the smaller inflatable. Maybe you guys will try to send your
demo van out here someday for the public to try them. Everyone I've
let try and talked to didn't know they even had inflatables and that I
keep mine in my sedan trunk in case I go straight from work to the
lake. Really happy with the board. Only downside is could use Drings
for netting or kayak seat attachment. Love the product though.

Finally, an ISUP for the big guys 23 Aug 2013

OK I'm a larger guy who is 6' 4" tall. In the last 10 years I have been as high as 293 lbs. and as low as 250 lbs. 12 months ago I bought a 4" thick 12'x 33" ISUP from another company who assured me it could float me at 265 lbs. It worked, sort of, but my feet were in a constant puddle and it rode very low in the water. I had hopes of taking my 9 year old daughter out with me, but her extra 38 pounds swamped the board.

When I read the specs on the Xplorer I knew this was the board I was waiting for. At twice the thickness and at 2 feet longer than my other board, I knew no matter how hard I fell off the weight control wagon I could always go out on this monster. I received it two weeks ago and have been out twice and it has met all my expectations. Daughter on front no problem. It's big so it's not the quickest turner, but that's not what it's designed for. On a bay, lake or river this thing tracks straight and is very stable. I really appreciate that Tower uses a standard fin box so I can switch to a shallow water fin because of where I like to paddle.

I have to also compliment Tower customer service. The day after I bought the Xplorer package on Amazon the price dropped significantly. I called Tower and they worked with Amazon to get me a refund for the difference. With the quality of the board, low prices and responsive customer service, they will be getting my business in the future.

Super Awesome SUP!! 11 Jun 2013

Received SUP within 9 days and I'm stationed overseas (Okinawa, Japan), super customer service (answered all questions). The board itself is super sturdy, super light to carry, fits in my trunk, and above all performs great on the water. SUP is super easy to inflate and set up, before I bought I was thinking of getting an electric pump for it, now that I've used the hand pump, that comes with it, I will not be needing an electric pump, the board itself inflates super fast and with very little effort. Super Awesome SUP!!
