I have been using Michelin guides to France for about 15 years and, although I only received this one about 10 days ago, I can see flaws.
(1) Some places featuring in the main script do not appear in the alphabetical index at the back.
(2) The information panels about a village/town sometimes state the size of population, sometimes not. I find this information useful when guaging the size of a place.
(3) These same information panels sometimes give the Michelin area map number and the map references to locate the place, sometimes not.
(4) The classification of a village as being one of the "Plus beaux villages de France" is very important for the village which must meet strict criteria to qualify and also denotes a place which most tourists would like to see. There are more than 13 such villages in the area covered by this guide but I have only seen one village being so described (Peyre) and that only in passing.
I am touring the area in July so I shall be in a better position to assess the worth of this guide to me at that point.
