As a general guide it is fine but you need to look at local sources once you are on the ground. It tries to cover the the whole of the UK in one volume. To suggest for example, that one cover the whole of the Midlands in one day is ludicrous. In France, twice the land mass but half the history, it takes 5 or 6 volumes; The Dordogne, Ile de France etc. The hotel and restaurant pages are a joke given that they change hands so often. Better leave them out in favour of more permanent stuff. It is a good basis but needs to be expanded to at least 4 volumes.
