Product Description

Product Description

Tourism: A Modern Synthesis is an accessible core textbook for tourism focusing on the development and management of tourism in an international context. A strong business and management theme pervades the book reflecting developments in the teaching and content of modern courses. The book is based around the principles of management and includes case studies emphasising this theme. It can be used as a one semester text, but its coverage of a broad range of subjects make it a useful resource throughout the three years of a degree course. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

I study tourism and business and never fail to find a reference from this book no matter what topic I'm studying - it contains everything a tourism student could wish or need to read. It is also first class for revision.
Like I said, my tourism studies bible!

Like another reviewer said, this is the tourism bible! Covers all the main theories in the tourism sector, very clear and easy to understand. This was recommended by my course leader at Glasgow Caledonian University from day one.
