Having recently taken the leap of faith and stopped dyeing my hair I was advised by my hairdresser to use a shampoo that was specific to grey/white hair, as some shampoos can tint grey hair and leave it looking yellow. So I researched online and kept hearing about purple shampoos but some of them were very expensive. At last I found a product that actually works and doesn't cost the earth! Touch of Silver weekly treatment claims to counteract yellowing, fading & dullness and it certainly does! My hair is now a lovely silvery colour. I use this shampoo once a week and as suggested on the bottle to prevent colour build up so that you don't get that purple hue in your hair, I use the Touch of Silver sensations shampoo to use in-between this weekly treatment shampoo to help maintain the silver tones in my grey hair. I highly recommend this product!

I made the fatal error of attempting to bleach my own hair from dark brown, to white blonde.
Hairdressers among you may wince, and you'd probably be right to. I went through 3 lots of bleach (ouch) and while my roots were lovely and white, my ends were yellow. I bought some rather expensive purple toner, and it made hardly any difference. I was about to dye it back, when I saw this product. It is fantastic. After a couple of washes, the yellow tones are all gone, however, it has started to take a slightly lilac look (due to my overuse!) so I'm giving it a rest.
Bottom line, it's a life (and hair) saver.

I cannot rate this product enough.I have highlighted hair,which can look 'yellowish'.I use this product once or twice a week and the colour is gorgeous,better than how the salon can get it,I prefer my hair more light blonde ash than just blonde and this shampoo neutralizes any 'brassy' tones perfectly.Not only that but its gives my hair extra body and styles so much better once I've given my hair its weekly treat.Another bonus is that it doesn't seem to need washing so much as the shampoo has a slight drying effect,which is good for my fine flyaway hair.when I first used this product,my hair looked so improved a young man at work asked if 'I had had my hair done,'THATS how much difference it makes!

Good stuff
I have natural but highlighted blonde hair which goes a bit brassy in the sun, this product, alongside the conditioner, takes some of that out. Good value.
