For babies that lunch - the Totseat travel highchair is your perfect out-and-about companion. It converts dining chairs of all shapes and sizes into a highchair, squashes into its own tiny travel pouch, and is completely machine washable.
Totseat is the perfect gift or travel accessory for every generation! It’s compact, squashable and washable and perfect for babies from around 8 - 30 months. It is the most versatile on the market, converting high-backed, low-backed, knobbly, open-backed or rounded dining chairs into a safe haven for your little one.
It is really easy to use, simply slip over the chair back, adjust the length, clip firmly, and sit back and enjoy. The cummerbund prevents your little one going through the back of a gappy chair, as well as providing additional support, if required, when wrapped around a chair and child.
The first Totseat travel highchair was made from the lining of a wedding dress and the second from a sheet. Many prototypes later and after more than 900 testing experiences on a huge variety of chairs, this fabulous washable, squashable fabric highchair was born.

I've practiced with this a few times and altho I quite like it our little girl has launched herself out of it a few times so you really do need to be sitting next to your wee one whilst in use - not really a substitute highchair.

I bought two of these to use for my 11 month old twins at my parents rather than them having to get highchairs.
They are easy to set up, wash very well and keep your child in the seat - as long as it's tightened - but def don't leave them unattended for a second as they're not as well restrained as when in a high chair of course.
My babies are little as they were two months premature, and we needed a couple of cushions under them to get them to table height, which was fine, and of course we'll reduce the cushions as they get older, as the Totseat will adjust to fit older children.
Also, you need to watch for them pushing backwards with their legs against the table, as any sensible parent would.
I'm highly critical but think this Totseat is fab.

A good product to taking abroad for a holiday when you don't have much space in the suitcase! We were lucky that it fitted well on the chair we used it on at the apartment, however we tried it on a smaller chair with a rounded top and it didn't work so well. Great buy though, would recommend it.
