Fresh from Grease, Olivia delivered what is arguably the best album of her career. She'd been immersed in MOR and country up until the smash hit musical and it gave her the courage to broaden her horizons. There's still some beautiful ballads here. Boats Against The Current and Dancin' Round and Round are exceptional and up there with her best work, but it's the title track, A Little More Love and Please Don't Keep Me Waiting that show the new mature ONJ off best. She even wrote a couple of tracks, Talk To Me and Borrowed Time. They aren't the finest songs here but they prove Olivia has an ear for a catchy tune even if a lyrical genius she'll never be (check the dreadful Gaia for further proof). Overall, it's Olivia doing what she does best, pure pop music. She was surely one of the best pop singers of the 70's and 80's, even though she was never really 'cool'. Totally Hot is the lovely Olivia at the top of her game and loving her music and success...
