Product Description

Manufacturer’s Description

From the makers of FIFA Football (the world's #1 selling sports game), Total Club Manager 2005 will pit your football wits against the best managers in the world. Whether you are scrapping for points in a relegation battle, or on the verge of European victory, TCM 2005 will guarantee you feel the pressures of the modern day football manager. A deeper more thorough database (with officially licensed leagues, teams and players), as well as improved tactical realism in a stunning 3D world will allow for a more realistic management experience. An all-new 3D highlights package (PC only) is also included to allow the manager to view key moments in the game. TCM's all new hi-res interface, player stat system and key game modes such as "Create a Club" (PC only) further push the boundaries of football management simulation.

1.0 out of 5 stars Please don't buy this, 26 Feb 2005

I had high hopes for this game and was quite happy to shell out the necessary forty quid when it first came out. Unfortunately it is terrible. If you want a decent management sim on the xbox then buy lma 2005. The worst thing about this game is the matchday graphics. Exactly the same as fifa meaning that attackers can never beat defenders, goalkeepers save a ridiculous amount of one on ones and when you do score it is always from one of the few set scoring points that fifa has. It is nowhere near extensive enough ( as i'm scottish i wanted to play as st johnstone but no luck there). There big selling point is the fact that if you own fifa 2005 you can play out any of the total club fixtures. In reality however you have to change over disks each time you want to do this and it takes ages. Stay away from this

I loved it the graphics were fantastic and it kept me enteryained for days, i can't wait till the next edition of this game series. i loved the fact that i could play my fifa 2005 matches in this game as it meant that i didn't have to play all the matches again

2.0 out of 5 stars Pretty bad, 29 Jan 2005

As a long time Championship manager player on the PC I had high hopes for this game on the XBox but am sadly disappointed.

The realtime gameplay where you watch the game unfold was great for a while until you work out how retarded the players are, just dumb enough to be annoying. It also seems impossible for a player to beat a defender one on one even if it Robben vs a Div 2 defender.

There is an almost total lack of stats info, I sign Adriano and he never plays internationals, you can't break down his stats by year (as far as I can see) and the players have so few stats that they are identi-kits.

I've played three seasons and got bored, bring on CM5 later in the year.
