    Cons:
    - fingerprints are VERY visible! this is the main con for me. i would pay extra for the matte version but there isn't any
    - internal sound is very quiet, my cellphone is way louder. no problems with headphone jack loudness however
    - touchpad is jerky, not smooth
    - multitouch is useless, all the time false reactions allthougn i used only one finger. this function has to be switched off to work normally
    - i was afraid it was bricked when it didn't turn on when I bought it :) not really a con - manual says that it has to be charged before work. but who reads manuals anyway?
    - tons of bundled bloatware, even more than comes with HP, took me an hour to uninstall it all. geeks find it better to just reinstall the windows in this case
    - won't run Hackintosh because of unsupported video card
    - HDD was split into two partitions of 116 GB each, never before have I seen such strange thing. had to repartition it into one piece (no reinstall needed for this operation). curable and not really a con

    Pros:
    - lightweight and thin, just what I wanted
    - temperature is acceptable. it's warm but not hot
    - has a looooong battery life!
    - really quiet! if you don't load the CPU the fan doesn't switch on, and if it does, the noise is low
    - performance is good. HD movies play smoothly (but not with all software players. they show best with Classic Media Player)
    - keyboard has a convinient layout, unlike some other laptops
    - never failed with blue screen or whatever. it just works like it should!

"ASK" seller was quick with the delivery.

    Just didn't work! 1 Feb 2010
It looked good - all black and shiny, with a decent screen - but it just never really worked.

The touch pad was very oversensitive, which resulted in opening programmes without intention, and it had a clunky mouse buttons.

That was the least of it, though: it was very slow to start up, and froze constantly when booted up, until it collapsed completely within two months
of light use. Toshiba customer service was good and thought it was the power adaptor and sent a new one (i.e. it had run out of juice and not recharging or able to run from the mains). The new adaptor worked and got it going again - so I tested the old adaptor and that worked too! Very confusing.

The final straw was when the wi-fi and ethernet connections failed. I was told by the Toshiba updater on the computer to update the drivers, which
I did through the links offered and it ended up unable to connect to the internet at all. Which, of course, meant I couldn't attempt to download and reinstall
    the drivers.

Phoned Amazon and they took it back and refunded. Now have an Acer and it works brilliantly.
