The Satellite C660's touchpad features multi-touch gesture support, providing an innovative alternative to conventional scrolling and buttons. The touchpad features an advanced, touch-sensitive interface solution that senses the position of a finger or fingers on its surface and recognises pinching, swiping, and rotating motions performed by simply moving your fingers.
The multi-touch touchpad recognises four different finger gestures:
- Pinch Gesture--two-finger pinch delivers zooming functionality in many Windows applications. The two-finger pinch zoom can be used to zoom in or out of photos, maps, or documents.

I purchased this computer for my own personal use as I had to sell my Fujitsu Siemens to one of my customers urgently because he had dropped his on a stone floor...This Toshiba is a very good computer for the price.... just under 320£.As an owner of an internet and computer repair center..when I got it in my hot little hands.. instead of turning it on (Iike most people would) I opened it up to take a look inside.Simple, smart layout and designed to last!Set up is fast.I recommend keeping all the "extras out" like Toshiba Tempro etc.Boots in just under 26 seconds,Windows experience index gives it a respectable 6.6 on the processor,5.9 on ram on a scale of 1-7.9.Fast,responsive,friendly touchpad,excellent wifi range...long battery life...on the other hand, only 2 usb ports, no hdmi ,keyboard and left -right clicks a bit on the loud side, webcam fair, speakers good.I very rarely get a Toshiba for repair in my shop..well along with Asus and Sony they reign in reliability!Can't get a better laptop for the money!

I got the Toshiba Satellite C660-21Z to replace a well-built but nigh-on knackered HP Pavilion laptop.
First impressions of this Toshiba laptop:
It's very well designed, in an understated way - everything is where it needs to be.
Casing - light but tough. Build quality generally is good for the price.
In operation - it boots quickly and shows no signs of flakiness. It's more than fast enough at everything you need an everyday laptop to do. I don't use laptops for games though, so I can't comment on what it's like for that kind of usage.
An honest, down to earth kind of machine.
All in all, it's a 5/5 from me.

A good few weeks in, the Toshiba laptop has given me no problems at all, and I am still delighted with it. Removed Mcafee security as soon as the trial period expired and replaced it with a free version of AVG. Happy days!

Great item, delivered 5 days early! Great price. Only problem, when I tried to take up the MacAfee antivirus after the 30 day free trial it couldn't be installed... MacAfee tried for 5 hours! Then they gave me my money back. They couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work! So if you do buy it choose another antivirus supplier!

Hard drive not as large as expected
Only 232 GB available of the 500 advertised, half is being used for back up and recovery, much prefer CD's as recovery option, all other respects it's fine.

Very pleased
