Bought to replace an old 7" model which the battery has died on.
The palyer looks good open and closed, and is pretty light to carry or sling in the car.
This DVD player has good picture quality for DVDs and shows photos from an SD card very well.
It does not support our HD video recorder format for home shot films though which is disappointing.
My experience is that the battery life doesn't live up to what is quoted, but we have used the player for several short uses with gaps of days in between, which may be the reason for this. Certainly you'll get at least one and half full feature films from a battery charge wihtout any problems.
It takes longer than our previous player to start-up, but once started, it works well.
Our young children find the controls easy to operate without any explanation for long car journeys which is better than our previous player, which resulted in lost of short stops in laybys to change DVD's and restart them.
All-in-all we're please with our purchase.

Bought this as a birthday present for my 3yr old granddaughter. She loves the independence of being able to 'do it' herself! Excellent product, very clear picture, good sound.

realy pleased with this item, it came as indicated and working really well. and good price as well. just thought it should have indicated that remote control batteries were not included but all the same I cannot complain cos it was a really good buy with fast delivery too.

Does not work
Do not buy this piece of junk. It continuously stops playing DVDs for 20 seconds or more, plays a little, then stops again. Tried with a variety of DVDs, all the same. Read more

Stopped working within weeks
This is a great portable dvd player although within a couple of weeks use it stopped working. I have to say though, Amazon were brilliant and replaced it immediately. Read more
