After looking at rear projection tv's in show rooms i thought the price was good for a tv that size but the picture was not as clear and sharp as all the other standard 28" or 32" tv's on display therefor was slightly put off from going any further with a purchase.
Then while again browsing for a new tv i noticed this particular model was brighter and clearer than most of the other rear projection and at first i mistook it for a plasma tv from a short distance. After speaking to the salesman and enquiring if it was the position of the lights etc.. he informed me that it was a 100 hertz tv and the difference was remarkable.
Subsequently this persuaded me to check out the web on amazon to see if i could get better prices.. need i say more i am now the proud owner of this model and i'm the envy of my friends as i've also hooked it up to a home cinema system via the 3 scarts at the rear and girls nights in have now become mixed with boyfriends joining in the enjoyment of many a DVD but not the girly chats i might add. The tv also has built in digital freeview tv as an added bonous, its easy to programme with all the instructions in the mannual related through the remote which also works DVD and video. This tv gets a big thumbs up from me with a rating of 5/5 for price and quality.
