Was initially put off by the low star rating from the first two reviews on Amazon, but I was intrigued by the great price and good make of this TV. So I looked at other, more extensive reviews from Argos and Play[] customers and elsewhere, which gave this TV a far higher rating.
given that it was a full hd 1080p tv, a good brand and only [] quid I therefore decided to go for it.
The tv arrived within 48hrs from Amazon and for the money its fair to say I am pretty impressed!
Given the market range of this TV it has a great, clean crisp picture which you would have to pay much closer to 300quid for on an lg or samsung set. Unlike some of these tvs in the 250-300 prices range the picture on this set is sharp and realistic, rather than seeming too bright and overly saturated with colour ( but sure you could fiddle around and get that kind of picture if you wanted!)
I'm 23 and only watch a 'few' things on tv but a lot more dvds - looking forward to buying a blu-ray player now that I have a 1080p tv. James Bond movies will look amazing!
Given the picture this produced for normal tv, I am really looking forward to it!
I think the sound is pretty good imo, but again if your a real buff then you prob want a home cinema system anyway.
Its nicely finished with a premium-feeling high gloss black and chrome, as well as having 'touch' buttons on the bottom corner of the screen-again a nice premium touch for a mid range set. Nice quality sleek black and silver control too
Bottom line. This is of course not a top of the range set by any means, but If you are not a total tech-fanatic but want a full HD TV that offers a solid picture, reliability (Toshiba) and sleekness without shelling out a fortune, then certainly buy this TV.
