Thd picture quality is excellent but the sound is dreadful, truly awful. I would not recommend this TV because of the wholly inadequate sound quality. Its far too tinny.
I have overcome this problem by buying a Tibo Sound Bar. It is a speaker system that replaces the TVs own speakers, the sound quality is now excellent.
On the back are plenty of sockets to connect DVDs, consoles etc. The on-screen menus are logical, and you don't really need to look at the manual (which is a good thing).
Once connected up and switched on, the TV guides you through installation and I'm happy to report it was all very simple. Fine tuning the colour, contrast and brightness is also very easy (and worth doing - it's all a bit garish out of the box).
There are some negatives though.
The instruction manual is awful. They must have paid a work experience kid to photocopy it, but only after he'd translated it from whatever language it was originally written in - best off just leave it in the box.
Rather annoyingly the aerial socket protrudes out of the back of the tv - by time you've actually connected the cable it's impossible to push it right back against a wall. A bit of a pain if you've wall mounted it.
Last is the sound. It is tinny - small tv = small speakers = small sound. Nothing to be done about it, but you have been warned.
All in all a good product with a few niggles which knock it down from 5 stars.
