Really pleased with this spare TV for use in the bedroom. Simple to set up simple to use, with good picture and sound. Cannot comment on freeview as cannot receive in our area yet, but very happy with sky sat reception. Disappointing that switch off on set leaves it on standby and to completely turn it off you need to switch off at socket or unplug. Would not hesitate to buy another though.

Have to pretty much agree with Dan.. We bought this TV about 2 years ago - we hardly use it but i think its died a death now - the screen is green/blue lines on both TV and dvd playing. The remote control takes ages to respond (nothing to do with battery life) and the sound seems to go from nothing to loud very quickly (not a good thing if you are trying to listen quietly..)

I bought one of these to replace my CRT about 11 months ago. In that time it has had to be repaired twice and is now having problems again. The picture quality is not great - certainly nowhere near as good as a CRT - but the sound is pretty good. It doesn't respond to the remote (with its nasty, rubber ZX Spectrum-like buttons) very quickly, so changing channels can actually become frustrating. Honestly, I'd chuck it in the skip and buy a different make if I could afford to.
