I bought 2 of these tv,s at Xmas for my daughters,had some trouble getting the digital tv reception to work but put this down to a poor signal as the area I live in is not due to go fully live till next year and I do not have an upgraded arial.However after reading other peoples reviews with this problem I tried again and if you scroll down to "Reset factory defaults" you can start from scratch again, getting the digital channels back, I had to sort the analogue channels after this as channel 4 always ends up in channel 1 slot, (this also happens with a Samsung lcd tv in the kitchen)but this did not prevent me continuing to get all analogue and some digital channels (I presume these ones are all those available in my area at this time.) Hope this helps as this is an otherwise very good tv, just some menus are not totally obvious in the way to save stuff, eg I deleted Rabbit channel as not suitable for children and to get the deletion confirmed after 4 to delete you have to press "Digital menu" and change default for deletion to "yes"

Cracking little product - ideal for the bedroom - gives me a lot more space and really looks like tidy product. Looks so much better than the Technika 19 inch TV I bought a few months ago for the kids room, not just design but also picture quality. The DVD player is really impressive and looks very compact. Sound is certainly good for a product so small.

I bought this model from a high street store, as at the time Amazon were out of stock. As previous reviews state, it looks good and was a doddle to set up. In fact I was delighted until I entered 'Channel Organiser'. Having rearranged some channels I exited and was met with a screen message saying 'Digital service not available'. I tried to redo the automatic search - but all it found was the 5 analogue channels. I spoke to the the Toshiba helpline who advised to take it back to the retalier for a replacement. This I did, and set up the replacement TV. All seemed fine until I entered the 'Channel Organiser', when again I lost all the digital programmes.

I spoke again to Toshiba (different person)and when I told them the model number they told me they were aware of this problem and that engineers were working on a solution.

I asked why, if you know there is a fault you havn't advised your distributors. They suggested I took it up with their UK Head office, which I intend to do tomorrow.

In the meanwhile I took it back to the retailer again and chose a alternative TV from a different manufacturer.
