The upside: The boots are comfortable and waterproof, giving the feeling that you are wearing a "tank". They are strong and all terrain and weather.
The downside: The insole is horrible, with bad conception for a boot like this (poor cushionning and impact absorption, cheap materials construction)and must be replaced. The sowing of the boots are poorly made and the finishing presents glue spills that had to be removed.
The bottom line: If the manufacturer wants to be alternative to Mangnum, Starforce, Danner, Lowa, etc. better starts to think to check their "Quality Control" at their final production.
This boots are o.k, and with better materials/quality control could be a serious alternative to other brands. But they aren't "cheap"...but they feel like "cheap".
