Little Big Town have always been a strong act in country music, but they have reached a new level with Tornado.
The album starts with the killer song Pavement Ends, I dare you to not start shaking the hips to this one.
Which nicely leads in to their most successful single to date and the summer anthem of 2012, Pontoon. This song has reached them to a new level of fans and rightly so.
But as always the true gems are the ballads that show off their powerful harmonies that no other band can beat. Sober, Your Side Of The Bed, and Can't Let Go are all nothing short of stunning.
The title track is indeed the standout song on the album for it's excellent production and beat that they have never used before. It works for them, big time.
The album is wrapped up with the beautiful lullaby style song Night Owl, that ends a magnificent album.
The band decided to change producers for this one and put Jay Joyce (Eric Church) in charge. This was by far the best decision they could have made. Jay has given Little Big Town's music a new lease of life and I can only hope it will continue for the next album.
Do yourself a favor and buy this masterpiece!
