This has got to be one of the best Torchwood novels. Having now read 14 of the 15 in the series, I can safely say this. Like many in the series, there is a tendency to keep skipping between various action but this makes for a natural feel to the TV series. There are at least two occasions that makes the reader exclaim, 'Of course' as an earlier unexplained portion of text falls into place towards the latter half of the book. Author Trevor Baxendale (who also wrote Something in the Water) writes a fast paced and compelling novel. Well worth a read even if you are not a Torchwood fan. The whole Torchwood series of books gets better with each new release. Recommended.
