this is a damn bright light for your bike. just as bright as car headlighs. perfect for going fast through the woods and allyways.

The Torch Highbeamer is wonderfully bright but comes with several problems.
Firstly the lights themselves are rather bulky and I had difficulty finding room on my handle bars to fit them without making it difficult to use the gears, part of this was down to the shape of the handle bars but they are a standard design.
Secondly the battery is on the heavy side, adding extra weight when you often don't need it. However, despite what some have said the battery does fit well in most bottle cages and with some careful thought the wiring won't cause any problems.

My biggest complaint is reliability. The first set I had managed to burn both bulbs and the fuse out a few hundred metres from home, leaving me rather annoyed I'll say. After a visit to my local bike shop where I purchased them I got a replacement and was assured that they had never heard of this happening before. My second set lasted somewhat longer, 4 or 5 night time rides before the same problem. The problem seems to be that if one bulb goes you have to replace it quickly or else the fuse goes, when your close to home this isn't much of a problem but when miles away from home a long ride in darkness can be the end result.

Just a typo probably but;

Product Features
6V, 2.4 watt, 4.5amp ???

This doesn't look right to me?

6 * 4.5amps would give a 27 Watt output.

Anyway. This is a good bright light but the bulbs are unrealiable / easy to break if you knock the lamp and cost £5 each to replace. The light fitting is also not very sturdy, and tends to wobble about a bit. Not too worried about the battery weight, although I was slightly shocked by how big it actually was. But you don't notice it slung under the frame - just a bit fiddly at times to attach.
