I bought this after seeing it advertised while on holiday in the US. It is promoted there as saving effort, as it doesn't require bending over to tend the tomatoes. However, it does take quite a lot of effort to set up in the first place - definitely a two person job, as it gets very heavy with all the soil in, and planting the tomatoes is a very fiddly operation. Now it is installed though it is easy to maintain and has become a talking point. The plants seem to be flourishing, so high hopes of a good crop!

Bought these last year seemed like a good idea they performed Ok but will only last one season due to the sun beaking down material

Found hole in the base was to small for inserting the whole root with earth attached of tomato plant.
I have seen a better design with a larger hole in base with a sleeve to slide inside over the stem of plant.

Topsy turvy
We found this item no good in our garden. we have no sheltered spot's to hang them, maybe that's way. But for us they were rubbish.

Topsy Turvy Planter
Item arrived promptly. It was easy to plant the tomato. It is now hanging outside. We are waiting to see how this is going to work but so far so good.
