My daughter has just started school this week and I have found Jean and Gareth Adamson's book invaluable. Having grown up with Topsy and Tim, she is able to relate to their new experiences and develops strength and guidance from them. Naturally nervous, the night before school she specifically requested this book as her bedtime story.

Bright, funny and written in a way that children find easy to follow, Topsy and Tim stories are both educational and entertaining.

Classic characters that i remember from my own childhood(im now 33)! My daughter is due to start school in september and i thought it may be nice to have a friendly, colourful book to read at bedtime. Its a nice story but does lack a certain something. It covers leaving mum, lunchtime and where to hang your coat but no mention of the excitment of learning to read, write or make new friends.
Could have been more to the story's content.
Nice bright pictures and a puzzle page at the end which was a good addition and my daughter liked.

My 4 year old has nearly all the old style topsy and tim books but this is the more up to date style.He starts school soon and it is a good book to inform them a little of the school day.It is bright and colourful and a good read.
