Bought this as a little extra present for my daughter's 7th birthday but she's ended up playing with it loads. And her younger brother age 5 joins in too - even though he's more of a Ben Ten fan! The Littlest Pet Shop characters are very varied and unexpected eg a ladybird, iguana and bat! As well as the usual kittens and puppies of course. They're rated on their degrees of cuteness, intelligence, rarity etc. Good to keep them quietly palying for 1/2 an hour and learning about relative number sizes eg 134 cuteness scale, beats 124 and reading.
